blogReuniting with my records

Two years after my record player was stolen, I was able to reunite with the music.

Back in the winter of 2012, I was robbed while at work. My record player was one of the many items taken from my home. Luckily, all of my records remained, even the one that was in the player at the time of the robbery. Over the past 2 years, I was able to replace almost everything that was taken, except my record player. I was attached to my old one so I held off from making the purchase for a while. This night, the music played again. I took an impromptu trip into Microgroove Records and saw one sitting in the corner. It looked a little lonely, so I had to scoop it up. I welcomed it home properly…with a little Bruce Springsteen of course.
