I make things, so do elves, so I am an elf. Gotta share the elf-life with the kids.

I was given the opportunity to help plan an elf themed party for a group of preschool students. This was great for a number of reasons, but mostly because working with kids is rad and I got to bring out my crafty side. I do so much “fine art” that I rarely get to do the whole craft bit. You know, felt, glue guns, glitter, sequins…things of that nature. So when this elf party came about, I went all out. I made mini trophies, came up with a small art project for them to do and made a toy car race track. I called the track Candy Cane Lanes. It was obviously made to look like a candy can and I added puffy snow and little, tiny pine trees along the outside. Oh, and the kids loved it all!!!
