A glorious day for an invasion.

People from Tampa tend to have this idea that they are pirates. I am included in this. Gasparilla season, as I call it, lasts from the end of January to about mid-March. Absolutely one of my favorite times to live in this city. I have been going to the Gasparilla festivities almost every year since I was a child. Since then, I always envisioned myself as a pirate. Not one of those skeezy wenches that are always in the parades, but a tough pirate. I may be getting up there in age, but I am forever a kid when the pirates roll in. Nothing but good times! This year, I even brought my LEGO pirate along.
