blogBits of gratitude

January 28, 2014

When clients are happy, I’m happy.

Today was drop off day for my latest commission. Me being me, I always get nervous at this phase of the commission process. It’s all fun and games while I’m creating, but delivering the finished product is always difficult for me. “Do they really like it?”, “Do they understand the work I put into it?”, “Do they realize how much I cared about making it?”, all those things race through my head. Then, sometimes I don’t even have to question it, the client just says it. This was one of those instances. I was given a gift with a heartfelt thank you.I haven’t gotten a thank you for work in a while, so this one was quite meaningful. I may have shed a tear upon reading the card…shhh!
